San Mateo, CA – Congresswoman Jackie Speier (D-San Francisco/San Mateo) in conjunction with San Mateo County Supervisor Adrienne Tissier will hold the 25th Anniversary of Seniors on the Move, the largest gathering of seniors in the Bay Area, at the South San Francisco Conference Center, 255 South Airport Blvd, South San Francisco on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9 am to 3 pm. With over 600 preregistered seniors, the event is at full capacity.

This year’s special guests will include retired airline pilot “Sully” Sullenberger and KGO talk show host Ronn Owens. Chesley B. “Sully” Sullenberger, III famously landed US Airways Flight 1549 with 155 passengers in the Hudson River after it was disabled by a flock of geese. Ronn Owens has hosted his top rated show on KGO Radio for over 35 years and has won numerous awards. Conference attendees will also hear from a “mature worker panel” that will feature the captain of the well-known San Francisco based sport fishing boat “Wacky Jacky.”
