Washington, D.C. – Tomorrow, Friday, May 28th, 2021 at 11:00am E.T. via Zoom, the Democratic Women’s Caucus (DWC) will host a roundtable with Afghan women leaders on their recommendations for moving towards a lasting peace. The recommendations were drafted by 100 women delegates from across Afghanistan during workshops held in Kabul after negotiations broke down following the announcement of the United States’ withdrawal from Afghanistan.
